OK, so I am getting a little ahead of myself here but I am bursting at the seams with excitement as we are expecting a couple more babies to arrive while we are away in sunny Australia. (He he - some of you almost read that wrong and thought it was Jeff and I) 
We are hoping that those of you expecting will send us photo’s and an email so we can see your precious ones accross the ocean!

By the time we return from our trip you will all be exhausted and sleep deprived - but it will all be worth it! I can’t wait to see you and photogrpah the newest additions to your families.

Congratulations John and Linda on the birth of Kayley Catherine! Kayley was born on January 12th at 10:46am weighing 7lbs. 2oz, and a length of 18 1/8 inches. I just had the priviledge of photographing baby Kayley a few days ago so stay tuned for a couple of images. Kayley has a big sister Zoe who is still getting used to the idea of being a big sister. (It can be a little scary when Mommy and Daddy bring home a new sibling - particularly when they make so many weird noises!).
The good news is that Zoe has actually taken to Auntie Tanya, Uncle Jeff, Auntie Tara and Uncle Rory - we are her new best friends now. We all now know everything there is to know about Dora the Explorer and understand why kids are so drawn to the characters!

A big Congratulations goes out to clients Camille and Stewart on the birth of their son Aidan. Aidan is welcomed also by big sister Arianna who is still adjusting to having a little brother. The good news is that she won’t have to share her dolls!
Aidan is the last baby to be born in 2006 - he arrived over the Christmas holidays. I had an opportunity to photograph Aidan so stay tuned for a couple of photo’s of him and his birth stats etc. He is absolutely adorable and a very content baby.
Way to go Camille and Stewart!

[A wedding from this past summer]
Tracey and Cory managed to get virtually the entire wedding guest list to fly or drive in all the way from Saskatchewan. By all accounts, everyone enjoyed the incredible sunny saturday we had to offer our visitors.
We utilized a few areas in and around the False Creek area to help give the images a cosmopolitan flair. The ceremony and reception were held at the fabulously beautiful La Terraza Restaurant on Cambie at the edge of Yaletown.
George Wainborn Park and the Plaza of Nations were used as the backdrop for some fun creative stuff with the bride, groom, and wedding party.

Tracey and Cory are actually from Saskatchewan and decided to come to Vancouver for their July wedding.

This is the obligatory Happy New Years post where we wish all of our past, present, and future clients a wonderful 2007.
For us it will prove to be a busy year even before the traditional wedding season gets underway - with extended trips to both Australia and Las Vegas on photography related excursions.
But before any of the fun stuff can begin, there is this little matter of year-end accounting hell. If you own a small business, you can appreciate having to get your books all in order before the Jan 15th deadline to pay the provincial gov’t the PST.
An extremely active Nov and Dec means we got behind in updating all of our expenses (we figured it best to spend our time on getting albums and reprints out to everyone before Christmas)
Hopefully we’ll get around to posting some more of our 2006 weddings and families. Stay tuned…..
Did we mention we’ll be heading off to Australia soon….. like in 4 weeks….
